Deep in the lush jungle section of the zoo, there’s a playful little trickster named Sunny, a rare Golden Monkey with fur that gleams like sunlight. Native to the bamboo forests of China, Golden Monkeys are known for their vibrant appearance and acrobatic skills—but Sunny has taken his talents to a whole new level.
One day, Sunny decided to explore a bit more than usual. Using his incredible agility, he reached a vine dangling just outside his enclosure. While the keepers watched in amazement, Sunny swung back and forth, pulling the vine with such determination that it triggered the misting system designed to water nearby plants. Water sprayed everywhere, soaking the keepers and delighting the other animals.
Sunny’s mischief turned into a memorable moment for the zoo team. Realizing they needed to adjust the setup, the keepers worked together to make the environment both safe and entertaining for the clever primate. To this day, Sunny continues to entertain visitors with his antics, often delighting crowds by swinging through his enclosure or “stealing” fruit from carefully placed puzzles designed to enrich his environment.
